[00:00:26] The World of Ready 2 is nearly upon us, folks. The World of Ready 2, our preparedness children's book series. The world that is led by the little monkey-esque creature named Uda and his guidance for those young children who come to the World of Ready with their problems or concerns.
[00:00:50] The second illustrated book is complete. Not published, but complete. Which, you know, it's significant for many reasons. You know, whenever you create something like this out of mid-air, or thin air rather, it's significant. But what's even more significant is that this takes the World of Ready from one title book to having two books and now it essentially being a series.
[00:01:18] You know, this was really born out of, this whole book was really born out of the idea of creating a cartoon. And I hope we can get there. I hope we can get to cartoon. I really do. I'd much rather have, you know, web series, cartoon, whatever. The World of Ready, little kids running around with Uda dolls, talking about observe, orient, decide, act, talking about, you know, how to pack a go bag for wildfire response and those kinds of things.
[00:01:47] It's not as far-fetched as you think. One of the things that preparedness really can do for kids is give them something they're good at early. You know, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to be prepared. And kids can build their own go bag pretty easily. That was what our first World of Ready book was all about. You can get it at Amazon.com. Just search the World of Ready and my name, James Walton, and it'll come up. And I'm sure it'll just come up on the World of Ready also.
[00:02:17] But what I wanted to talk about today is the fact that book two has arrived. Book two arrived in my hands. I've got the interior fully illustrated. I've got the cover, which I posted on Instagram. And I'll get it out to everybody. I just kind of excitedly posted it because I had a few seconds before leaving. And, you know, you know how it goes. You get excited. Things are exciting. And, you know, here we sit in this world once again.
[00:02:46] Doing this World of Ready thing once again. You going to let me over, buddy, or no? And, you know, it's just one of those things, guys. It takes a lot to build out your ideas from scratch. And I've done it with so many different projects and different things. And quite frankly, none of them have been stellar. You know what I mean? In terms of, like, return on investment. Not that that would ever stop me or slow me down.
[00:03:13] But in all actuality, you know, it's kind of tough to remember everything that you're doing all the damn time. In terms of projects and this. I mean, you know, as we speak, guys. Just as we speak. We're running a prepare the homeland newsletter on a weekly basis. You know, just a little something. Just trying to prepare people for a radical Muslim attack and radical Islamist attack. Nationwide multi-scope terror attack.
[00:03:44] We're about to kick off the Ration of Ruins series. We're running a 13-host podcast network. I'm always running a coffee business. Thank God for my two partners. Now that takes a little bit off the plate. Right? All these different things. You know, I'm on the crux of publishing poems for men. Which is, to me, like, every one of these things is so important. Poems for men. I look at that as a life-saving document. When you read it, you'll understand.
[00:04:12] But I look at it as, like, a life-saving document. In all actuality. Because there's just... There's writings in there that are, you know... They could save people's lives. Really. So, you get to that point in your life and it's just like, okay. We're doing these kinds of things all the time. And it's not going to slow down. And we're going to keep pushing them and pushing them. What I could use from your guys' side is promo help. Really. At the end of the day.
[00:04:42] At the end of the day, it's just... Could you help me with promotion of these things? It's not your job. You know, I understand that. But if anybody out there is thinking, you know... I love what the Prepper Broadcasting Network does. And all the things they strive... And what they strive to do and so on. That... You know, and you'd love to help out somehow. Just repost stuff. You know, reshare stuff. Repost stuff. Tell your friends. You know, the world of ready books are pretty cheap. You could buy more than one and hand them out. Talk to your kids' school. That kind of stuff.
[00:05:11] There's nothing political in the world of ready. It's very straightforward. You know what I mean? It's really very... It's about as minimal a story as possible. And as straightforward a story as possible. But the illustrations themselves are... You know... What are they? Bombastic. Okay? Because the kids are literally taken from their life... With their problem. Through a portal into the world of ready.
[00:05:40] And they meet a bunch of characters there. And learn that their preparedness problem... Is not as big a deal as they might think. That's it. You know what I mean? But... But... Yeah. It's a lot. You know what I mean? And what I'm trying to do... As the creator of these things... Or even as the promoter of these things... Is... To make sure that they're where I want to be... Want them to be. Um... But to also enjoy them. You know what I mean?
[00:06:10] To enjoy the process. And then to enjoy the completed project. And then... You know... The part that I've always struggled with... And the reason I've struggled with... Is because I don't really focus on it all that much. I'm kind of more into the creation. Is having these things... Uh... Do something for the world. Aside from... You know... Just hit a couple people's... Bookshelves. You know... Like... You want a series like this. You create a series like this to have effect.
[00:06:39] And you want a series like this to be very successful. Because then it reaches a bunch of kids. And... Um... You know... That's the part I need to hammer down on. I used to have another fundamental flaw in creation. And that was... I would... Divulge too much information too early. You know... Which is why you're hearing about this... Now that the interior is finished. The way I tend to do things... Is... You know... I've got an idea. And I think the idea is going to be done in about three months. So I'm going to tell you all about it right now. And three years later when I finally finish...
[00:07:08] You'll get to see it. And that's largely been... Uh... My creative process. You get excited. Watch. You know what I mean? You get so many... Only so many years on this planet to do things. You do some cool things. You get excited. The world of Ready 2 is here, folks. Okay? It's amazing. It really is. It's a great little story. It has everything to do with camping... And getting lost in the woods. And the...
[00:07:34] There's a very special dedication and inspiration in this story to me personally. I don't know. We can put it out whenever we want now. I'll have to look at the calendar and see what a good date to release it will be. But it'll be in the very near future. We'll get it out. I'd love it if we could get it to number one again. Like we got the first one. That would be huge. Which I think is well within our capabilities as a network. You know... We get these books to number one. It adds validity to the cause. It adds validity to sales and so on.
[00:08:04] And all that kind of stuff. It just... You know... It feels real good. So... The world of Ready returns. I'm going to look and see when the first one came out. It may have come out in May. We may release it on the same day. Either way... No matter how you look at it, it's here. For those of you uninterested in this... Looking for me to talk about some political and geopolitical situation... Tune in tonight. 9pm Eastern. Okay? We're going to have a really great guest on tonight.
[00:08:31] An instructor of survival and preparedness and shooting and so forth. Great guy who was introduced to me by the Phoenix. The one and only Phoenix. Jay Ferg. Phoenix Survival. And it's going to be a great show. You know... I intend to find out a little bit more about our friend Bruce. And also sort of pepper him with questions about... Who's coming to these classes? You know what I mean? What kind of person is coming to these classes? Who are you seeing?
[00:09:01] And... You know... What's your takeaway? Alright? So... Great shows all weekend. Actually, the weekend was a bit sparse. But great shows that are out. Don't miss Reliance.
