Surviving America: Episode 1

[00:00:02] Society in every state is a blessing.

[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_01]: The government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil.

[00:00:11] [SPEAKER_02]: The future has already arrived.

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome in, surviving America.

[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We are all in this together, folks.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Whether we get along or not, we're all out here doing it.

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_00]: We're all out here surviving in America today, 2024.

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And much has changed. Much of our motivations have changed.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Much of our preparations have changed.

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And truth be told, I thought it my best effort to drill down into exactly what it is,

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: surviving America today.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So thus ends the chapter of the I Am Liberty Show and begins this new show.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the standout things about surviving America is going to be,

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_00]: they will simply be episodes.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Today is surviving America episode 1.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The last time I did a first episode of a podcast was probably 12 years ago.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And to be completely honest with you, one of my regrets was that I never numbered my shows.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And I want you to understand, by me producing surviving America episode 1,

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: the power that you have to just do what you want to do when you want to do it.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, I've probably spent hours thinking to myself,

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: should I have numbered my I Am Liberty Show episodes?

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I have no idea how many I did. No clue.

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And I always thought, what a bad move. I probably should have done that.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I could have had fun with the numbers.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm a thoughtful guy.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I could have come up with some fun things to do with those numbers.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know what?

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: See, surviving America is not just going to be about what bad things exist in America.

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just going to be about the bad.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it is a beautiful time.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It is a beautiful time.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We're on this incredible ship.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: It's sort of like the ship from, what was the movie with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt?

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like that ship. That's what America is like.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And we are going through some sort of asteroid storm.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? And what that ship looks like on the other side.

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Passenger, is it called? I think.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a pretty good movie.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you had to give this podcast a tagline,

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: it's fundamentally this.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not for the purposes of unification through a podcast.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's more of a reminder, you know.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is, we are all in this together.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You might hate Kamal Harris.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You might hate Donald Trump.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You might hate guns.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You might hate, what is it?

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Drag Queen story hour.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know who is in love.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's sitting around going like,

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yippee, I can't wait for the next Drag Queen story hour.

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But regardless of where you fall on all those things,

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_00]: guess what baby?

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: We're all in this together.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_00]: As Guy Ritchie said,

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: don't hate the game because you're in it mate.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? We're all in this thing.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So I published a sub stack today.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: My sub stack is currently free.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It may be free forever.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd prefer it not be free forever, but it may be.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And it was all about the true picture of America.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_00]: From, you know,

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: fundamentally, like what are Americans after?

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: What are you after?

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Like what are you doing?

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of you out there listening to this show right now

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: are after self sufficiency.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: You're after self reliance and independence.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You are into that.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: But you're after other things too.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You know.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a little cynical and so on.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: The link is down below in the description.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess we should do a little bit of.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Right now I feel like

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_00]: PBN at the moment is

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: like a battle carrier group

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: coursing through the content creation ocean.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I feel like right now.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We got a new show.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: We got the big Rumble cast going right now.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_00]: All about security and defense.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna let that run for a couple days.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you miss a show, don't worry about it.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Great shows.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Up there on Rumble Live.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Go find us.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_00]: The other huge thing we've got going on.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Now pay attention if you're not a member.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: This is something you have got to pay attention to.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: For the members there will be another opportunity

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_00]: in National Preparedness Month.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But I said to myself we're like three to four days out.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Three days out from National Preparedness Month.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Why did I say four days?

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: One, two, three.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay so we are. If you count today.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I've got a four day flash sale.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: On membership.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Ten bucks off. Use the promo code READY.

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: This is my whole idea.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You get the membership.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Within the next four days. That's it. Four days and it's over.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I've set the expiration code.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: All that kind of stuff.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So you go to PBNfamily.com.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Start your membership.

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Gain access to all the videos.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: All the podcasts.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I did a great podcast. I'm gonna give you some information.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_00]: From a listener on it.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday about tools and homesteading tools.

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And stuff.

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Just top notch.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But you get the videos.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You get the series. You get the courses.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You get the full scale bug out overview.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: No one still to this day that I know of

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_00]: has ever done the full scale bug out overview like I did.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And of course it was with the help of other people.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Just the take on it.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You get the discounts.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You get the element room.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You get all kinds of stuff.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Take that like a football handoff.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The PBN membership.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a football handoff.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You got the ball. You're a running back.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Boom. You hit the line with the PBN membership.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And that line is national preparedness month.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we're down to the wire folks.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Make this month count.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Hit it hard.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Many of you out there listening are not members.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate you all.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Without the audience we're nothing.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But I remiss to tell you that you're missing out.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You're missing out on a lot of thoughts and a lot of products.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And we started a new

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: membership show called Family Gear.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Where I'm actually showing off

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_00]: the gear that I use which is

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_00]: new for me.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the cool things about not being

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_00]: on like a YouTube platform all the time

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_00]: or even Rumble and video

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_00]: is we've created this audience

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: now where people don't even know what I look like.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Man, I kind of like that.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So, PBNfamily.com

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: use the code READY.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You got four days.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Count them.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I know it's midweek. Maybe you gotta wait until Friday to get paid.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the situation is.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: The annual membership with the discount is 50 bucks.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: For the year.

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It's an incredible deal.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Get on it.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Alright. So, some of the things

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: that I want to cover today

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: and every day

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: on the Surviving America

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: show

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: are fundamentally

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_00]: stats about Americans.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Health issues.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe some parenting stuff.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously prepping.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And we created a

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: very special way to end the show.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: With the help of the

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00]: members of course.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll explain that later.

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll explain that later.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: What I'd like you to ruminate on is

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, what really

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: moves the American people today?

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I ask this because the Kamala thing

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and I know it's a media manipulation

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_00]: in large part

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_00]: has me really sort of like

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_00]: is the media apparatus

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_00]: this big?

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Or are the

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_00]: American people

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_00]: this devoted to

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_00]: no Trump?

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Or am I

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_00]: spending too much time in news?

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably that. I don't know.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to go into the election thing in this episode.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_00]: What I do

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: what I did ponder like I said on my sub stack

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and so forth is

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_00]: what are we and what moves us?

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Really. Truly.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, do we want peace?

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_00]: We seem to really

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_00]: we really cussing

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_00]: like conflict.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean that. I mean we like the cuss

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_00]: out of conflict.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just one of our things.

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand it.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not really sure about it.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I just made a change to the show

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: outline that'll change everything in my life.

[00:09:30] Ha ha ha!

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I may bring

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_00]: it up, I may not. But it won't happen

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_00]: on today's show.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what? I'm gonna duplicate

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_00]: it.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: On top of that though

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I do want to talk about

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: economy. I do want to talk about

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: this story about over a

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_00]: third of uh, this is pretty impressive

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_00]: over a third of Americans have

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: side hustles here's why.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Now I don't know if we need to hear why.

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know it's

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_00]: this is an interesting take

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_00]: on American life. The side

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: hustle. Nothing new.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? It's not like something new and incredible.

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_00]: In fact my side hustles

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: have always existed. My side

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: hustles have existed all through

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_00]: my 9 to 5 life.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I spent all my time

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_00]: chopping and slicing

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and julienning and thinking

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_00]: about that book that I wanted to write

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: or thinking about that catering

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: business I wanted to start or thinking,

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_00]: right? The side hustle is most

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_00]: certainly more than money.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Over a third

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: of Americans have side hustles

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: according to bank rate.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, 36% of Americans

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: are now earning money through side gigs.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I know several

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: men in particular

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_00]: who are on their side hustle grind, man.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: While Americans continue to battle

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_00]: high inflation this is from the street.com

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really know much about the street.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_00]: To battle high inflammation

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: many are turning to side hustles to supplement their income.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, according to

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: the recent bank rate study, I don't know if we read that.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: 36%

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_00]: nowadays have a side hustle. Back in 2017

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_00]: we started doing this research

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: it was only 19%.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, you know,

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_00]: you can look at this and on the face of it

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: you can say to yourself,

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00]: the side hustle is growing

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's growing because economic times.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? That's very possible.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: The side hustle and the economic

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: pressures we put on ourselves

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_00]: um, are also

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: to some degree self-inflicted.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't deny that.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't walk around America.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't drive around America

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_00]: and see the types of cars

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: that we drive and see the types of

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_00]: houses that we live in and say

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_00]: we are being exclusively

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: economically

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: destroyed

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: by the government.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, they're not helping.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_00]: They haven't helped in my entire life

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of, you know, not just running up

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: an insane debt and taxing us

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: at every turn.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: But the reality is too

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, my father made a really

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: interesting comment the other day.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: He said, you know

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_00]: everybody has an SUV now.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody got a truck or an SUV.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Like even if there was

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_00]: an affordable sedan

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: if people who have credit

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: and money and go to shop for a car

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: that they want and have the ability

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_00]: to buy it or maybe not even

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: but have the credit to get it

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_00]: they're going to get an SUV

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: or a truck.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Most people.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Unless it's like somebody who's got a lot of money

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: they might get a sports car. But the age of the sedan

[00:12:46] is

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: either

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: coming to an end, at its end

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: think about if we didn't have like the Tesla

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: there would be even less

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: sedans on the road.

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So some of the wounds

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_00]: are self-inflicted folks.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: You know and that is just what it is.

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But again the side hustle

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: is just that.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It is a reminder.

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: 36% that's more than a third.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of people. 36%

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_00]: of Americans are working their whole

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: job coming home

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_00]: working more for money

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: for the promise

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: of a future that is better

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_00]: than the life they live now. Now we have to be careful

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: about that too.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to be very, very, very, very

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_00]: very careful about that.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a Jordan Peterson clip

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: where he talks about how

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: it's epic too.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: you know

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: it hasn't

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: history was not the story of man

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_00]: dominating woman.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: History was the story of man

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and woman striving together

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00]: through very, very, very, very

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: difficult times. And he says

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: very like that many times.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's one of the only times I heard

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: anyone use very like six

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: seven times in a row.

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it was perfect. I thought it was absolutely

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_00]: justified.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_00]: To explain tough times to our generation.

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought six

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: seven varies were important.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00]: what you have to be very careful

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_00]: about man with all the side hustling

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and the hustling in general is

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_00]: you wind up

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: trying to create a life

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_00]: that could

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_00]: exist.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_00]: You know I maybe I'll get

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: into it. I don't know you wind up trying

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: to create a life that could exist

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: abandoning the life that

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_00]: does exist. And I'm

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: telling you if you've got kids man and you know

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: what I'm about to say

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: that life is abandoning

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00]: you right out from under your feet

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: right out from under your nose

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: that whole experience is disappearing.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean it is. It's like dust

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: blowing with the seasons.

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And a little you know what I mean.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a topic

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: that is near and dear to my heart.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is the disappearance of the child.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mean like parents not having kids.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean the disappearance of your child

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: the death

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: that many deaths

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: of your children.

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a real thing.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a real thing most people just don't look at it that way.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Like you had a one year old one time.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember. Remember you had a one year old.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you had a one year old and a four year old.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: They're dead.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_00]: That's over.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Not in the literal sense.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They're just ten now.

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Thirteen, fifteen, eighteen, thirty five.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever. But that little

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: face, that little talk

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_00]: that little run up to ya, that little

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: game you guys used to play. That's over.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And no matter how much

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_00]: money you side hustle or hustle

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_00]: or accrue

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_00]: all the gold in the world

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00]: you stacked up gold to the moon.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't push it across the

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_00]: table and get

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: one second of that little

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: face back.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: That is the most important lesson

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: parents can learn, in my opinion.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean that's it. That's all of parents.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Especially with young kids. But it's not just young kids.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's every second.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's also not just kids. It's people you love

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and people you care about. It's life!

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It's life. And we have to be

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_00]: careful about hustling

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: for what could be

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_00]: abandoning what is.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it will all abandon you eventually.

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's a wild one. And again

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_00]: this is probably a product of social media.

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_00]: The great striving, the great

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Americans striving for more.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And again

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_00]: like I used it

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I used side hustles as a tool

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: of distraction to

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: you know

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_00]: get myself through the day

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_00]: fundamentally. Right?

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's nothing wrong with stacking cash right now.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing wrong with stacking cash

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: right now. You just have to

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_00]: derive a balance. You know I think I'm going

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_00]: back to cash exclusively.

[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_00]: In all honesty

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I think I am. I mean I'll have

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_00]: obviously my debit card.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_00]: But I think I'm going to go back to cash.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: This digital, digitized

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: life, this digitized

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_00]: pay system has gotten out of control.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think we all

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: should make it a point to go back to cash.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Not to mention if you go back

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: to cash you can build

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: an emergency fund in cash which

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: is something you want to have anyway.

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But maybe you build an emergency

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_00]: fund and an operating fund as

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: well. And these don't

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_00]: have to be you know tens of thousands of dollars.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But maybe

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_00]: you just put some cash in a safe

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: place at home and then when you go out

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: you take cash.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Take cash, pay with cash.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd admit

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I said I'll admit it.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I've been strung along

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: in the digital world for too long.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And it just feels like

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: the expectation

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_00]: is digital, the expectation is

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: tip me for no reason.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_00]: The expectation is

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: it's all out of control.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And when you go in with cash everything

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: changes. Not to mention

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: not to mention

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_00]: you love this business

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: you go to this business all the time

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: right?

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They charge you

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: three bucks for a coffee whatever it is.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Five bucks for a buff. I don't know.

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_00]: They charge you a certain

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_00]: amount for that product right?

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you hand them, let's say they charge you three bucks

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_00]: for a coffee. You hand them three bucks in cash

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: for the coffee. They get to keep three

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_00]: bucks. If you hand them

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: three bucks or if you hand them a

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: card and swipe for three bucks

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: well now they have to pay a transaction fee.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_00]: They're losing.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_00]: They're losing on that.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You know.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Just is what it is. It was a big

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: scam.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what it was.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what? We got in a situation where we

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_00]: we just got a little scammed. That's all.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Garden Girl

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to start substituting in my

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_00]: kids school dritzy money I make will go to

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: an emergency cash fund. Oh the side

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_00]: hustle of Garden Girl. Alright. Well thanks

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: for joining us today Garden Girl in the live

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_00]: chat room for

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_00]: the new show. I hope you're enjoying it.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Hope you're enjoying yourself.

[00:19:40] Um.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Like I said.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Americans have

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_00]: varied motivations.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_00]: God bless you

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_00]: substituting.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_00]: A girl, a person like

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Garden Girl showing up in your kids school

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: that's something you want to have happen.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That's something

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to have happen. There's no doubt about it.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh no this is from Fox News.

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: This is probably a terrible story. But we're going to

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_00]: read it anyway.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Another big part

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_00]: of surviving America

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_00]: has to be health.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to talk health. We have to talk about

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_00]: the health narrative.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Um. Because

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: you know it's been a big part

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_00]: of my life. Healthy eating

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and so on.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Physical fitness.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You know when I first started podcasting

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_00]: in the prepping world I was

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: dashed consistently over my

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: emphasis on fitness and strength.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm happy that that has changed.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You know. I'm happy that it's

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_00]: fundamentally changed. I've been courting this

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: company Wolf Tactical trying to get them

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: to be a sponsor here.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they sell these really cool tactical weighted

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_00]: vests along with other great tactical

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: gear. Um.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Haven't heard from them. We're not

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00]: blowing them away I guess.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But all that said

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_00]: um.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I got this article 6 healthy eating

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: concepts are evaluated as true

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_00]: or false by nutrition experts.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Now that's always scary.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? Whenever you see Trudy.

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you see experts.

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know anymore. I don't know. I don't know who

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_00]: the experts are. You know.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'd rather they say

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: is give me like one name.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Rather than just

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: the blanket experts.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So let's have a look. I haven't looked this over because I didn't want to

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_00]: get a head start.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to uh.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to make sure that I could read

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_00]: these and say okay.

[00:21:45] Um.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with this. I don't agree

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: with this. And maybe get your guys

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: input in chat as well. Right?

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So 6

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_00]: healthy food concepts

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: true or false. Multiple experts

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and researchers from Mass General Brigham

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_00]: in Boston investigate some popular

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: diet concepts. You know these things can also be

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_00]: applied to your food storage.

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday I bought

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_00]: just you know

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_00]: run of the mill shopping. Trip.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Three cans of sardines and olive

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_00]: oil. I know a lot of you are like what?

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Sardines and olive

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: oil. Yeah.

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean to me when

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I look at certain foods and when I look at a can of

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_00]: sardines and olive oil I see

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_00]: a multivitamin.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I do. That's what I see.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean I like them also.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And I love olive oil.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But I see something that's just so packed

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_00]: with good stuff.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah I don't know. That's just the way it looks

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_00]: to me. I see a big

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_00]: bowl of medicine when

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I look at foe.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: True. In recent

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_00]: studies the Mediterranean diet

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_00]: has been shown to be beneficial for

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_00]: overall health.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Mass General supports this theory.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Referencing its own study it found women who followed

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: the nutrition plan for more than 25 years

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and set up the 23% lower risk of mortality.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Mediterranean diet you guys

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_00]: know right? It's kind of like a

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_00]: olive oil heavy by the way.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts,

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_00]: fish.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And fundamentally

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_00]: less sugar, less carbs,

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_00]: less red meat. More

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_00]: of an emphasis on fish.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_00]: What we eat today

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_00]: has major implications for living a long

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_00]: healthy life.

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Ba ba ba ba ba.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Now what is this? Down here it says

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_00]: false. While some people

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_00]: do suffer from food allergies or

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_00]: autoimmune conditions the experts at Mass

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_00]: General

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_00]: found the diet concept

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_00]: this diet concept to be

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_00]: false overall as many digestive symptoms

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_00]: are known to have more complex

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: causes.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_00]: See what they've done here

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_00]: on this article

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: is the headings

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: are missing.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: The headings are missing

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: so I don't know which true or false we're

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_00]: talking about.

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_00]: True, the researchers found this

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_00]: claim

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_00]: blueberries indeed

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_00]: are beneficial to your eyes.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: See there's no heading

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: about what they are. But we could still

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: talk about them. Blueberries

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_00]: beneficial to your eyes. You know the blueberry is

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_00]: probably the most nutrient

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_00]: dense. If you can get good blueberries

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_00]: it's another one. It's another like medicine

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_00]: food that I eat.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't buy them because I'm like man I could really

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_00]: go for blueberries. I buy blueberries

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_00]: because they are

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_00]: a healthy fast

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_00]: snack that is super

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_00]: packed with

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: nutrition. You know

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and I always think like

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: you go salt vinegar

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_00]: chips or you can go blueberries

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_00]: what do you want to do? You know what I mean?

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: False with

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_00]: caveats. Mass

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: general experts say a plant based

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_00]: diet is not always the best way to go though it may

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: seem super healthy.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Do we even need to discuss that?

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You know you're not a goat.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not a

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_00]: goat.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Look at this. This is a

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: link to another article

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that probably has no headings thanks to Fox.

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And it says

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my! Eight gross foods that nutritionists

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: say you should eat.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Liver,

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: sardines,

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_00]: two of my favorites, and

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: insects. You can't

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and insects is actually sandwiched between

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: it's liver, insect, sardines. They sandwiched it

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_00]: in there to sort of prime ya. Prime ya.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Get ready.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Choice as the choice architecture

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_00]: of the grocery store strongly influences

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_00]: what we purchase.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_00]: False. Mass general deem the concept

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_00]: as flat out false.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't even

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_00]: understand that one.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Healthy items are stocked in visible

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_00]: or convenient locations

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_00]: when healthy items

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: are stocked in visible or convenient locations

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_00]: that increase the likelihood of making a healthier choice

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_00]: according to the researchers. I think that the grocery

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_00]: stores personally are set up

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_00]: perfectly. I do.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that the grocery stores

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_00]: set up absolutely perfectly.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Like this idea that it's this

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_00]: pit of despair

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: where you can't avoid making bad decisions

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I think is crap.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing,

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_00]: it's very simple.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like the outer rim

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_00]: of the grocery store is where the real

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: food is.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: How could it be simpler?

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, you go into a grocery store

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and you're thinking like, I want to eat healthier.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, walk the outer rim

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Go through the produce, go through the dairy,

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_00]: go through the meat

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and maybe

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: the bakery a little.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Then leave!

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Pop into the other ones.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: There's like three or four aisles I'd never even go down

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: in a supermarket.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It might be more than that.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway,

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's set up great. And if you're the type of

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_00]: person that's like, I want processed foods.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's what I want to eat.

[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to drink coke and eat processed food.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And look, some weeks I'm that guy.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Some weeks I am that guy.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Some weeks I say, you know what? I'm going to go grab some coke.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to grab some silly

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: cake batter and stuff and make

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: something crazy at home.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You can be both.

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean? It's like...

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're really hell bent on

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_00]: eating healthy, just

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00]: walk the perimeter of the supermarket

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: then leave.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You know? There's no...nobody's going to

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_00]: file 6 with the

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_00]: pretzels and the pork rinds.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's going to be like, ah!

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Shove her into the Oreo line.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_00]: What else?

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_00]: What else you got, Fox?

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those things that seems like...

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, here you go. This is an interesting

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_00]: one. Introducing...this is a true

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_00]: statement. Introducing a small child

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_00]: to foods known to cause allergic reactions

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: can be scary for parents, but Mass General

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: confirmed it can be beneficial in the long run.

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Introducing development...

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: developmentally appropriate forms

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_00]: of peanuts to children between

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: 4 and 6 months old can cause an 80%

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_00]: reduction in peanut allergies.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Exposure, exposure,

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_00]: exposure, exposure.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Would there have been a time where things

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_00]: in peanuts would have...we would have been exposed

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_00]: to them more often, more regularly?

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any food allergies.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Growing up, I read

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_00]: a book called...

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: What was it?

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We read a...I read a book, I think

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_00]: it was called Becoming a Chef. I'm pretty sure

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_00]: it was Becoming a Chef. And

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I probably actually

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_00]: still have it on the shelf there.

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a book that I read so much that the cover

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_00]: came off.

[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So I may not have it. But anyway,

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_00]: there was a guy in there.

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's no way I'm gonna remember his name

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_00]: on the spot, on the fly. He's a bald

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_00]: headed chef, got famous,

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_00]: had big bushy eyebrows.

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He was kind of fun.

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Polish dude from the Midwest

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: did a lobster

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and potato pierogi became

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_00]: kind of like his thing,

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: one of his like signatures.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Which power

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_00]: to you, my man.

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Can't come up with his name.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, in culinary school

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00]: he found out that he had a little bit of an

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_00]: allergy to rabbit.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And he really liked it.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So what he did is he started

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_00]: eating little bits of rabbit all the time

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and his head would blow up and he'd get a little

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_00]: hive thing. And nothing, you know, he wasn't

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: putting his life at risk. But there was a lot of

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: discomfort. Lips would get itchy

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and all that kind of stuff. And he

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_00]: continued to do that through his whole career

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: in culinary school. And

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: by the end he said I wasn't allergic

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: to rabbit anymore. I don't know.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That's my singular chef case

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_00]: study on exposure

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_00]: therapy. Garden Girl

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_00]: in chat says my husband used to drink at least

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_00]: six cans of Dr. Pepper a day.

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't had soda since February.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. I mean, soda

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_00]: can be expensive. She says she can't believe

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_00]: how much money we've saved on

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that's a lot. Six cans

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_00]: is a lot. Dr. Pepper's good though.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Cherry flavored

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_00]: soda's my favorite actually.

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually my favorite.

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I try to

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_00]: avoid it when I go to

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: a movie. Like if it's a good

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_00]: movie, like I'm ready to watch this movie, like

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_00]: the next one will probably be

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Count Orlok.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_00]: What's the movie called? Nosferatu.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll definitely have me a big old

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_00]: cherry coke when I go watch Nosferatu.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It's good, you know.

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You drink it every day though. I mean if I drank

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_00]: soda every day for a week

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_00]: it would have literal physical

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_00]: implications.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the grossest things I ever heard

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_00]: is that, this is another reason why I don't

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_00]: drink soda a lot.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_00]: My nutrition

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_00]: is Dr. Rhonda Patrick

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_00]: from foundmyfitness.com

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: She is not my nutritionist. She doesn't know

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I exist. But I call her that because

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that's where I go for that kind of information.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_00]: She said when you drink lots of sugar like a soda

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_00]: what happens is

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_00]: once all that gets

[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_00]: into your bloodstream it makes

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_00]: your red blood cells stick together.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's just enough blood talk

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and health talk

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_00]: for me to say

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I gotta watch out for that.

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Because that doesn't sound like anything good.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You follow me?

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_00]: much of what we do

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_00]: though, much of what we've learned

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_00]: at least me, I don't know if this

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_00]: resonates with you. I listen to a lot

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_00]: of health stuff. I listen to a lot of longevity

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_00]: stuff and you know all that.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I live a life

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_00]: void of injury and pain.

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I truly do.

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if that's because

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't play sports growing

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_00]: up so I didn't break myself

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: early.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's because of the way

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I eat, because of the physical fitness

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_00]: because genetics could be genetics.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_00]: My dad never really was injured until

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_00]: like 60s, late

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_00]: 60s really. Like late

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_00]: 60s still painting houses.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_00]: He got like a shoulder.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, sort of started to get this shoulder

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and a little bit of back before he retired.

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't, you know it's probably a combination

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_00]: of things. Like I shouldn't sit up on a

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_00]: high horse and be like, oh my diet is

[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_00]: so, because I go off the rails man.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like everybody else. You know, it happens.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll be down here and finish

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_00]: rapping a podcast at 10.30 at night

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and be like, I think it's about time

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_00]: for a bowl of Lucky Charms. What do you think?

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You know

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_00]: what I mean? An up end of weeks worth of

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: willpower.

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Just part of life man.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Just part of being, it's part of surviving

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_00]: America. So

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_00]: we're gonna, we're gonna go out

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: this show is not, I'm not here

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_00]: to do an hour. I'm not here to assure

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_00]: any certain amount of time.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, when it feels right

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_00]: we're gonna end it. When we

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_00]: cover the things that we want to cover we're gonna

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_00]: end it. And

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I have.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I have fundamentally.

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You know.

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_00]: What I would say though is

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_00]: try to blend, before we

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_00]: move on to our final segment, try to blend

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_00]: sort of your

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_00]: healthy eating

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_00]: concepts with

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_00]: your food storage. Your long term

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and your short term and your

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, your whole food storage program.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_00]: That might not

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: mean

[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_00]: that you get to have everything

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_00]: on your shelf lasting for

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_00]: 25 plus years.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_00]: But remember that food storage is

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_00]: about much, much

[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_00]: more than being around for

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_00]: 25 years, right? I mean

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_00]: truth be told most preppers

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_00]: are gonna eat through everything

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_00]: they have before that 20

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_00]: 25 year long term food storage

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_00]: run out date. So I wouldn't get

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_00]: too hung up on that.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean? And again food storage is a stop

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: gap between food production, right?

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So in other words

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_00]: good to have food storage

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_00]: but really it's just

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_00]: a buffer between you trying to figure

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_00]: out what can I produce

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_00]: here in the long term for

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_00]: food.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Get the chickens, get the quails, get the

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_00]: goats, get the cows, get whatever it is

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I wind up on. I gotta be able to produce

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_00]: meat or eggs

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_00]: or something like that to have protein.

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Food storage is

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_00]: the in between, you know?

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Even if you have a year's

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_00]: worth of food storage

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_00]: for every member

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_00]: in your family.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_00]: what are you doing 10 months

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_00]: into that?

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Chances are you're probably out already.

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And you better

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_00]: have a plan because now you can't, you know if it's a true

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00]: collapse situation or if society has

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_00]: fallen on its face for longer

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_00]: than a year

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_00]: then guess what?

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You're out of food now.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So fold in that

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_00]: you know

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_00]: fold in the types of foods that you want

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_00]: the types of foods that fit your diet

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_00]: that your body's used to rebuilding with

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_00]: that kind of stuff.

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So for our

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_00]: final segment

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_00]: it's called a moments monument

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_00]: a moments monument for those

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_00]: who don't know, probably most don't

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_00]: know, is how

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Dante Gabriel Rosetti defined

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_00]: a sonnet. Now one of the things about surviving

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_00]: America, and I'm not

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_00]: going to go too deep into it today, I've talked

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_00]: about romance in this country on this

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_00]: show before, I've talked about love on this

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_00]: show before and I'm telling you it is

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_00]: a desolate waste.

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Love is dead in the movies

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_00]: it hardly

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_00]: exists, it's dead in music

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean it's really dead in modern music

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_00]: like it's

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't hear

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: love in anything anymore

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_00]: in music.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It's most certainly dead in popular culture

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: popular culture is on a struggle

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_00]: to basically

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_00]: make men and women as incompatible

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_00]: as possible right now, it's crazy

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_00]: to see. So I thought

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_00]: we'd create a home for it here

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_00]: with a moments monument. Now

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_00]: in my

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_00]: first iteration I was thinking you know there's

[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_00]: a lot to read, there's a lot to review, there's a lot

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_00]: to recommend, and we might do that from time

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_00]: to time also

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_00]: but one of my favorite

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_00]: things man is

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_00]: listening to Delilah

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_00]: on the radio in the evenings

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know if she's on that much anymore

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_00]: but I love that whole concept

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_00]: of Delilah allowing

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_00]: people to take the microphone and give

[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_00]: shout outs

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_00]: to the people they love.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You know? And

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: we need that.

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_00]: We need that

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_00]: so much.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we need a reminder of what

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_00]: love does, what love is,

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_00]: marriage, familial love

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_00]: you know the whole thing. Because

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_00]: it's nowhere

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_00]: it's nowhere.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You know? It seems like everyone who

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_00]: writes a movie or writes a television show has

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_00]: like

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_00]: vindictive nature towards

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_00]: the opposite sex

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_00]: their parents, their

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_00]: grandparents, the world itself

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_00]: the way it is and was.

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Like everyone's out for

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_00]: vengeance.

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I guess that's why, you know

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_00]: vengeance is for the Lord.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Because maybe it is sort of like a wildfire

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_00]: we cannot handle. But

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_00]: without further ado we're going to end

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_00]: the show with a moment's

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_00]: monument. I hope you enjoyed

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Surviving America. This

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_00]: oh and

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_00]: so I planned on reading things

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_00]: but I liked the Delilah

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_00]: idea better.

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And I reached out to our members

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'll reach out to all of you eventually.

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said you know send me something. Send me

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_00]: something lovely, send me something wonderful

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_00]: that

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_00]: is simply a message

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_00]: to the people you love.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You know? And let's

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_00]: put that out into the podcast

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_00]: universe for this

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_00]: particular segment.

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And I got something incredible from the

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_00]: one and only Garden Girl that we're going to

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: kick this whole

[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_00]: thing off with. Okay?

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is a moment's monument.

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I grew up the youngest of

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_00]: three girls

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and I was the son my dad didn't have.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_00]: My love of the outdoors,

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_00]: fishing and gardening came from him.

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I looked up to him

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_00]: so much for all that he did for our

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_00]: family and others.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He was by no means perfect but he always

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_00]: made me feel

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_00]: like there wasn't anything I couldn't do if I put

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_00]: my mind to it. He unexpectedly

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_00]: died a month before I got married

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: 15 years

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_00]: and I always think of all the things

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_00]: my kids missed out with him.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I love and miss you daddy.

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Today, tomorrow

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and forever your girl.

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Nina Bean.

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And that is a moment's monument folks

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and that wraps up our

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_00]: first episode

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_00]: of Surviving America on a

[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_00]: somber but incredible note

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_00]: when you think about it, right?

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_00]: What explains American life better than

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_00]: that?

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Alright folks, I do appreciate

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_00]: you all.

[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Garden Girl, thank you so much for that incredible

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_00]: peek into your soul

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_00]: that takes, you know, that takes

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_00]: bravery to put your thoughts and your

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: feelings out there on the air like that.

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It's no joke.

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to hear from you guys also.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_00]: More for a moment's monument

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_00]: for next week's show.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the prep and Patriots

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_00]: got something waiting in the wings for me.

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But let's hear from you all.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_00]: We can do more than one of these.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_00]: You can call in as well. We can do call-ins.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You can shout out that wife of yours, those kids

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_00]: of yours, that husband of yours.

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's add something to

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_00]: PBN that we don't have.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And then we need more of Fundamentally in America

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_00]: in the world, right?

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Check out the link to the sub stack

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_00]: below, the PBN link trees

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_00]: down there, everything you need to dig deep

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_00]: into what we do here at PBN.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And thank you guys so much,

[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_00]: man, for sticking

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_00]: around and allowing some silly

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_00]: dude to

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_00]: chase his dreams. I appreciate it.

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Talk to you soon.
