[00:03:51] attack in Tennessee, Kentucky, whatever

[00:03:56] I know that like everything gun in the minds of the useful idiots is

[00:04:01] Inextricably tied right it's like well gun

[00:04:05] If it's good gun news or bad gun news

[00:04:08] It doesn't matter all guns are evil and if they weren't around if we could snap our fingers make them all go away

[00:04:15] Go check out the stats in in the UK about knife attacks and stabbings and raping at knife point and see how different it is

[00:04:25] The biggest difference I think

[00:04:32] At least one of the biggest differences would be

[00:04:35] How many women could be assaulted?

[00:04:39] Women be much easier to assault much easier to rape if they there were no guns you would know

[00:04:45] You pull up on a woman nowadays. You don't know there might be a stumb nose revolver in that nice Michael Kors bag, right?

[00:05:14] I mean as far as I'm concerned like I don't I don't see how the woman could be at fault. I

[00:05:20] Don't understand how the woman could be at fault. What are you trying to get in the car for you know

[00:05:24] There's never a situation where you need to get into someone else's car when you're pissed off like that

[00:05:29] Unless you're gonna do them harm right?

[00:05:31] And what's a woman supposed to do?

[00:07:16] I enjoyed it. You know, it was fun. I was learning new stuff. I was meeting new people. It's good time

[00:07:23] And I did some standing around in some convention centers behind tables thinking that

[00:07:30] This is the way to

[00:07:32] You know make my podcast popular

[00:07:35] Become Rush Limbaugh or something like that

[00:07:41] Something to that effect, right? I wasn't really intent on being him. It wasn't a huge rush guy

[00:07:47] But for the sake of the story

[00:07:51] At the one of the first prepper events I ever attended I

[00:07:57] Met Dave Jones the NBC guy

[00:07:59] So it's likely one of the most important events in my adult life

[00:08:03] You know what I mean now is a good chance who would have met at another one

[00:08:07] But this one was important. This one was where I learned a lot of things from Dave's class

[00:08:12] I took Dave's class

[00:08:15] And it was like NBC stuff

[00:08:18] There was EMP stuff in it. There was nuclear stuff in it. There was

[00:08:23] Movement and tactics stuff in it. It was a game changer for me. It really was he showed off his EMP trash can

[00:08:32] Long before anybody was doing you know Faraday bags and like our great new sponsor man Faraday containers

[00:10:15] Really messed me up for a minute there

[00:10:18] So we had to make the jump to galvanized

[00:10:21] Steel or whatever it is. I don't know what they are

[00:10:27] We would later run into each other in Utah at prepper con

[00:10:33] 2018, okay

[00:10:33] Prepper con 2018 really fun really fun. I went there with the bunker days guys

[00:10:39] I haven't heard from them guys in a while. I got to reach out to them and put that on the magic list here

[00:10:46] For those of you don't know

[00:10:48] My entire existence depends on this magic book

[00:10:51] Everything that goes into it happens everything that doesn't go into it doesn't happen in most cases

[00:10:56] It's essential to the survival of all of my businesses and my life in general

[00:11:04] The planner man the planner is all

[00:11:09] So prepper con is no longer it's no more

[00:11:13] They don't do that anymore. It was really fun. They had a prepper fashion show. They had all kinds of cray

[00:11:18] It was it was still when

[00:11:20] 2018 was still when prepping was this fringe kind of funny kind of mockery

[00:11:25] You know what I mean like let's go see what the freaks are up to their throwing axes

[00:11:29] They got tanks in there. They got a fashion show with guys in ghillie suits. You know what I mean? It was like that

[00:11:38] Then in 2019 I went to prepper camp and I saw

[00:11:48] The vast difference in what a prepper show should be what a prepper event could be and should be I

[00:11:55] shared a

[00:11:57] Camping spot with Jay furg and her father

[00:12:01] And it was right on the lake and I was catching bass off of that little lake. It was fun. I was teaching a class

[00:12:07] my first time there my first year there how to start a podcast funny enough and

[00:12:13] It was pretty well received actually. I didn't think it would do well, but it did pretty good

[00:12:17] how to start a podcast man it was fun and

[00:12:21] I

[00:12:22] Enjoyed it. You know what? I mean I enjoyed that that first year at prepper camp

[00:12:26] I was trying to figure out like what is this thing? What's going on here?

[00:12:29] Like what is an as as the weekend went on I started to realize like this

[00:12:34] This is how you do it

[00:12:37] And now there are many shows, you know, you got to look for like self-reliance. You've got to look for

[00:12:43] What's the other one the thrivalist fair out there in the West? Oh, you know what I

[00:15:27] Survivalist boot camp or something. I don't know what that one. It's called it. That's a cool one to every look

[00:15:34] Every one of these events has merit. I've looked them over. I know people have gone to them

[00:15:40] But the orchard Lake campground

[00:15:43] where prepper camp is held is

[00:15:46] The whole nine yards it's everything

[00:15:48] I mean and the people who come the whole of the PBN listenership

[00:17:33] It is no joke. Okay, it's no joke so

[00:19:05] Yeah, we've been selling selling a lot of tickets and we got people coming from all over the country

[00:19:16] Australia in New Zealand I think too

[00:19:19] Wow, that's a thing now that's an annual thing now. I remember the year the people from Germany came

[00:19:25] I was floored yeah, and now it's just every year we're like

[00:19:30] Different places on the in the world stage. It's amazing man

[00:19:33] What what floors me is when people from Seattle come? Yeah, and

[00:19:39] It's like it's like

[00:19:40] They can't they can't talk about preparedness stuff and the things that we talked about at prepper camp

[00:19:46] Where they live and work, you know, it's kind of like a safe space for for preppers and and

[00:19:56] Conservatives yeah for sure what floors me about the Seattle folks is when they come to prepper camp

[00:20:01] They spend the whole weekend with us and then they actually fly back. That's what floors me

[00:20:07] I don't think I could I don't think I could go back after a weekend like that

[00:20:12] You know unless I was putting a for sale maybe they're maybe they're preparing to go someplace else

[00:20:17] But they're trying to get their ducks in a row beforehand. I sure hope so

[00:20:20] For their sake, but uh, yep

[00:20:24] So what what what else we got guys? I saw there's a big gigantic event in DC on Sunday

[00:20:31] That Brad was gonna be at is he still coming?

[00:20:35] Yeah, yeah, he's in fact he was gonna bring his whole family again this year

[00:20:41] But you know Brad from five times August who has now been literally all over the world since

[00:20:47] since he came to his first prepper camp

[00:20:51] three years ago and

[00:20:54] And he's doing work with dr. Ben Carson doing doing kids shows music for kids shows and stuff

[00:21:00] I mean, it's just he's incredible talent and he's been

[00:21:04] You know, I he's been blessed because I think

[00:21:08] Because he's been willing to stand out speak up and say what was right, so I think you know

[00:21:15] God is blessed the man. He's been all over the world and he's coming

[00:21:20] To prepper camp on Friday and gonna play his the Saturday night

[00:21:26] He did that he's been doing for the last couple years

[00:21:30] It's a party it should be it should be great. Yeah, what was amazing to me is I just looked down the row and

[00:21:38] There's Sarah Hathaway and her family like singing the words

[00:21:43] housing every single or they knew every word every song but

[00:21:48] Yeah, so he's gonna be there Saturday and then he has to fly out Sunday morning to get to Washington, DC

[00:21:53] So man

[00:21:55] Busy man busy man. Yeah, that's a good time those those Saturday night parties award ceremonies

[00:22:02] The live music and even the video nights like the movie nights

[00:22:07] They are sort of the the unsung fun at prepper camp, you know what I mean?

[00:22:12] There are things that happen to each and every night outside the classes and outside the

[00:22:17] the brotherhood

[00:22:19] That are cool too. It's good that you guys do that

[00:22:23] And we're gonna have we're have more demonstrations a year

[00:22:26] So in fact one that I've excited about I've been wanting to have for years is

[00:22:31] We're gonna at eight o'clock at night

[00:22:34] on Friday night

[00:22:36] we're gonna have a

[00:22:38] Night vision and thermal demonstration where you can actually look through the stuff and see how it works and what it does

[00:22:45] And the ups and downs and sideways of all that stuff. So that's pretty cool. Oh, that's a great idea

[00:22:50] Yeah, that's a great idea. That's fun stuff. That's a game changer man first time you put those

[00:22:57] Yep, and if you use your ears

[00:23:01] Force multiplier, I mean unbelievable. I've been

[00:23:06] I mean I always have because I've got 130 animals on my farm

[00:23:11] I've always got issues with with rodents stealing my fruit, you know raccoons possums

[00:23:18] And raccoons being a problem potentially for my chickens and stuff. So I

[00:23:25] My chicken coop is 33 yards from my window my bedroom window. So we've got motion sensor alarms everywhere and

[00:23:33] I've been using thermal the last year and

[00:23:36] I will tell you it makes a huge difference because as soon as you turn a light on they're gone. Oh

[00:23:43] You use thermal they have no idea and

[00:23:46] And

[00:23:48] it's it's the

[00:23:49] It's the old saying I think the snipers, you know from from a place you cannot see come this a

[00:23:56] Come something you will not hear

[00:23:59] The time it hits them they're out

[00:24:02] It's been I mean I've I've got rats. I've shot with that thing

[00:24:07] I've got which is pretty a small little target that moves pretty quick

[00:24:12] But it has been it's been really really helpful so I can't say enough good things about it plus I'm doing my

[00:24:19] My setting up a rifle predators class on Friday night, too. So people can kind of

[00:24:26] That need to figure out what's what to run and how to run it

[00:24:31] Whether that's four-legged or two-legged predators will be talking about that stuff, too. That's uh

[00:24:38] That's what it is. I mean that's the standout for prepper camp the the list of classes is so crazy every single year. It's like

[00:24:47] God, it's like it's a man. It's not just a master class. It's like a

[00:24:52] Collection of master classes

[00:24:54] You know it's so many good

[00:24:57] Classes every single year. Yeah, I don't even think I've ever been to one of your classes

[00:25:02] I gotta make it a point to get to one of yours this year

[00:25:06] Well, you've never been to any of my classes. I don't think I ever have a

[00:25:10] Wow, I'm missing all the fun. You know, there's so many man. Hey, it's crazy

[00:25:14] How many I go see and I got a little one

[00:25:17] Do you know I gotta I gotta do

[00:25:19] Yeah, I know yep absolutely. At least you got Phil and you know Andrew to help you. Yeah

[00:25:25] We got this year for sure

[00:25:27] We got a couple of new classes that we just added that I'm really excited about we've got

[00:25:33] Using consumer drones for post disaster

[00:25:38] and so we're having somebody do a

[00:25:42] Basically a class each of the three days on how to use a drone tactically

[00:25:48] I mean look at what's going on right now in the Ukraine and Russia

[00:25:52] You know, it's all trunnions are using off the shelf off the shelf consumer drones and

[00:25:57] You know, they can see where they are they can find them on thermal they can find them on night vision

[00:26:02] They can you know, they can get the high definition camera images on their little little keypad

[00:26:09] for the thing and

[00:26:12] They can drop payload

[00:26:14] I know there's an amazing who's doing mesh testing. We got a mesh test at class. That's gonna be doing it

[00:26:20] Chin's doing it. Oh chin is doing it. He told me that oh my god. Yeah go see chin

[00:26:27] He yeah, we he got me started on all that crazy mesh tastic business. That's great. Yep

[00:26:32] That's phenomenal. I just saw a video last night where somebody's using mesh tastic to

[00:26:38] to

[00:26:39] Get warned for perimeter alarms like oh, yeah cool. Yeah

[00:26:46] It's a phenomenal technology. There's a guy there who does the 3d printing

[00:26:52] You know him usually in like flip-flops

[00:26:56] I'm drawing a blank on his name. I worked with him

[00:27:00] He's a good guy at prepper camp. Yeah, he's always a prepper camp

[00:27:03] He I don't know if he teaches a class or not, but he's always in the market

[00:27:07] I mean in the in the vendor row and last year was selling some 3d printed stuff and some calm stuff. I

[00:27:14] Think he does solar or yeah, I think he does solar maybe I don't know anyway

[00:27:19] I don't know. I don't know. You know, there's two thousand people there. Yeah

[00:27:24] If I told you his name you would know but I'm drawing a plan

[00:27:27] I haven't talked to him in months can't wait to see him

[00:27:29] But he has a sort of a mesh tastic setup with with a drone. It's like a drone group a

[00:27:37] Drone network like a mesh network. He put in the air with drones

[00:27:41] He's been playing with he's been playing with that for like two years. He brought a prototype last year

[00:27:46] And I was like man, you got to put it up. Let's try it

[00:27:48] So I'm gonna bring my oh, you know what? I think Phil's bringing I think Phil's bringing

[00:27:54] GMRS radio base station. Yeah

[00:27:56] Yeah, he's gonna do some GMRS stuff for the whole area and get people on it

[00:28:02] Which is which is great because we you know we

[00:28:07] My group and the the the

[00:28:10] CERT group that I have for our county are all doing GMRS

[00:28:15] And mesh tastic so, you know, we're basically our community emergency response team is all using that stuff and

[00:28:23] Yeah, really excited about what it can do for us and and we're even tied into the sheriff's department with it

[00:28:30] So he's kind of

[00:28:32] He's looking to us realizing that

[00:28:36] They got an incident I mean look what just happened in Tennessee

[00:28:39] You know somebody somebody shot a bunch of people and

[00:28:45] Now, you know, there's a huge manhunt for this guy

[00:28:50] That sucks resources away from you know doing other stuff. So if somebody wants to do some nefarious

[00:28:57] something they

[00:28:59] All they need is to do something over here on the right hand side and then the left hand side is uncovered

[00:29:05] so the nice thing about this the the

[00:29:09] Community emergency response team as we can be first responders when our other first responders are involved which

[00:29:17] you know

[00:29:19] We're seeing

[00:29:21] potentially, you know a civil war going on here

[00:29:24] You know just stuff

[00:29:27] With all of the illegal aliens around everywhere every every city every town is a border town now and

[00:29:36] There just isn't enough law enforcement to be able to handle that and I'm not saying that what we're doing is law enforcement

[00:37:06] Invasion type stuff just because I see that on the horizon

[00:37:10] So I'm trying to prepare the kind of prepare the

[00:37:15] You know the preparedness community

[00:37:17] to

[00:37:18] Be aware of all that stuff one of my recommendations every year and unless I take

[00:37:23] It myself and and since I'm so good friends with her I I

[00:37:29] Don't I don't know that I would have took the class on its own standing there

[00:37:32] And this is why I always bring it up because you can see it on the list of classes and you might think I don't know

[00:37:37] You've got to go to utilizing fibers for homesteading and survival like

[00:37:51] That's sort of your niche in the prepping world or in your prepping group. I think everybody needs to see how you take a

[00:44:33] I mean that the classes are great, but the camaraderie the

[00:44:38] Family the reunion who could some a lot of the hosts call it the reunion now

[00:44:43] The reunion elements are just they're unbeatable. You know what I mean?

[00:44:48] Because you will see people you see a saw the year before you will you know meet new people

[00:44:53] It's much more than just show up and sitting classes. It's a whole culture
